Moroccan Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch held talks with his Lebanese counterpart, Najib Mikati, at the 33rd session of the Arab League Council in Manama on Thursday. The talks, attended by Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita, covered various topics of mutual interest. The two heads of government stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation mechanisms in various sectors, acknowledging the strong ties of solidarity between Morocco and Lebanon. Akhannouch underlined Morocco's commitment to improving relations and reiterated Rabat's support for Beirut in its national struggles. On the Lebanese side, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs Abdallah Bou Habib, Agriculture Abbas Hajj Hassan, Information Ziad Makary and Education Abbas Halabi took part in the talks.
