The military cooperation agreement between Morocco and Israel, signed on November 24, 2021, in Rabat, included a section on the development of a military industry in Morocco with the help of Israeli expertise. This ambition was publicly stated by Morocco even before the resumption of relations with Israel on December 10, 2020. «The kingdom seeks to develop the maintenance of military equipment by requiring, as far as possible, its suppliers to commit to transferring the technology for equipment maintenance to the Royal Armed Forces (FAR)», the Minister Delegate for National Defense Administration, Abdelatif Loudyi, said at the House of Representatives in November 2019. In March, BlueBird successfully tested its new SpyX kamikaze drone in Morocco.
