Hot weather (34 to 39°C) and strong wind gusts (75-90 km/h) are forecast for Friday and Saturday in several Moroccan provinces, according to an «orange» alert bulletin issued Thursday by the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM). The southern provinces, including Fquih Ben Salah, Béni Mellal, Settat, and Marrakech, will experience temperatures ranging from 34 to 39°C throughout the period. The heat will also be felt in inland areas like Azilal and Al Haouz, as well as southern coastal cities like Essaouira and Agadir. Coastal cities north of Essaouira, including Casablanca, Safi, and Agadir, can expect similar hot weather on Friday. Strong winds (75-90 km/h) accompanied by dust are forecast for southern regions on Friday, impacting provinces like Laâyoune and Tiznit. The strongest winds are expected between 8 AM and 1 PM. On Saturday, these strong winds will shift north, affecting inland areas like Béni Mellal, Khénifra, and Guercif. The strongest winds are expected between 1 PM and 3 PM.
