Morocco's national football coach Walid Regragui has named 24 players to participate in the two friendly matches scheduled for Friday, March 22, 2024, and Tuesday, March 26, 2024. The matches will see the Moroccan national team facing off against Angola and Mauritania at the Adrar stadium in Agadir. Among those called up is Real Madrid striker Brahim Diaz, who recently decided to represent the Moroccan national team. The list also features newcomers Youssef Enríquez Lekhedim and Eliesse Ben Seghir. Regragui has also included Emirati club Al Ain forward Soufiane Rahimi and defender Achraf Dari. However, notable absences from the list include captain Romain Ghanem Saiss, Selim Amallah, and Sofiane Boufal. According to a statement from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, Regragui will hold two press conferences, one day before each match. Each press conference will be followed by a training session open to the media for the first 15 minutes for photo opportunities. The list of players invited by Walid Regragui also included goalkeepers Yassine Bounou, Mounir El Mohammadi, and Mehdi Benabid, defenders Nayef Aguerd, Abdelkabir Abqar, Achraf Dari, Chadi Riad, Achraf Hakimi, Mohammed Al-Shaibi, Yahya Attiyatullah, and Youssef Enríquez Lekhedim. The list also includes midfielders Sofiane Amrabat, Oussama El Azzouzi, Brahim Diaz, Bilal El Khannouss, Amir Richardson, and Azzedine Ounahi. Hakim Ziyech, Ilias Akhomach, Ayoub El Kaabi, Youssef En-Nesyri, Soufiane Rahimi, Amine Adli, and Eliesse Ben Seghir, were also summoned.
