Morocco international Hakim Ziyech has officially signed a five-year deal with English professional football club Chelsea, Goal reports, adding that he agreed to the terms of his arrival from Ajax. Ziyech is expected to spend the rest of the season with the Amsterdam-based club and join the Blues by the start of the next season. «I am delighted and proud to have signed for such a huge club as Chelsea», Ziyech said. Quoted by the club's official website, he said that he is «looking forward to next season and hope we can achieve great things together». Earlier in February, the English club confirmed the transfer of the attacking midfielder for a €40 million contract. «We are delighted Hakim will be joining us in the summer, having been a key target of the club's in this last window», Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia said. For the record, Ziyech' contract with Ajax was expected to last until 2022. The Moroccan international joined Amsterdam in 2016. Since then, he made 159 appearances with the club and scored 48 goals.
