Morocco's national carrier Royal Air Maroc (RAM) launched, Thursday, its new line to china, connecting Casablanca to Beijing through three weekly flights. A large delegation of senior Moroccan officials flew to Beijing to inaugurate the new route, including Royal Air Maroc's CEO Hamid Addou, as well as the head of Morocco's National Tourist Office (ONMT), Adel Al Fakir, said RAM in a press release sent Thursday to Yabiladi. Thanks to this new route, the national company will connect, for the first time, Morocco to China in less than 13 hours through direct flights operated by Boeing B787-9 Dreamlineres with a capacity of 302 seats including 26 in the business class. «Flights from Casablanca will be scheduled every Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 5:00 p.m. (local time) and will arrive in Beijing at 11:55 a.m. local time (d + 1). Flights departing from Beijing will be scheduled every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday at 1:55 pm and will arrive in Casablanca at 7:55 pm», the same press release read. For the record, Royal Air Maroc directly links Morocco to four other countries on the Asian continent, namely Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Qatar and Jordan.
