Morocco Football Federation president Faouzi Lekjaa attended, Thursday, the funeral of Dutch-Moroccan footballer Mohammed Ihattren's father in Al Hoceima. Before he headed to Al Hoceima, Royal Moroccan Football Federation head sent a delegation to Utrecht to show support for Ihattaren and his family. The football body also helped the player bury his deceased father in his hometown, Al Hoceima. For the record, Mohamed Ihattaren has recently made headlines in Morocco and the Netherlands. The footballer has to choose between Morocco and the Netherlands. After he was summoned by the Atlas Lions' new manager Vahid Halilhodzic, the Moroccan international player has received an offer from the Dutch junior team. The list, published in the team's official website, includes the name of the 17-year-old striker born in Utrecht. Commenting on the situation, Mohammed Ihattaren said that he bears both the Moroccan and Dutch citizenships but he had not yet decided which jersey he wants to wear. «What I want is to play football and make a name for myself, be it with the Dutch or the Moroccan team», he said.
