French low-cost airline Transavia will launch, in November 7, a new route, linking Paris to Ouarzazate with two weekly flights, MAP reports. The new flights will be operated after a partnership agreement, signed Tuesday, at an international tourism exhibition, held in France. The agreement was signed by the head of the Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT) Adel El Fakir and Transavia's President and CEO Nathalie Stubler. On the sidelines of the signing of this agreement, the Deputy General Manager of Transavia in charge of commercial, Nicolas Henin, stressed that Morocco will be destination number 1 for the winter for Transavia, noting that the Kingdom is a historic and very important destination for the French air carrier. With the opening of the new Paris / Orly-Ouarzazate air link, Transavia brings to 11 the number of flights operated to Morocco, he said, adding that his company relies heavily on this new line to develop tourism to Africa's Hollywood.
