The Polisario Front has arrested another Sahrawi activist in the camps, Spanish news agency Europa Press. The arrest is part of a campaign launched by the movement to silence its opponents in Tindouf. After abducting Moulay Abba Bouzid and Fadel Brika, two members of opposition group the Sahrawi Initiative for Change (SIC), the Polisario arrested Sahrawi blogger and activist Mahmud Zedan. Speaking to the leader of Sahrawi opposition movement Khat Achahid (the Martyr's Line) Mahjoub Salek, the press agency wrote that Zidane has gone missing since Wednesday afternoon. On the same day, Zedan wrote on his Facebook account that he «is being asked to leave the camps» and «hide in a secured place». «I will not run away and leave behind a battle… that was started to maintain freedom of speech», he argued. On Monday, Moulay Abba Bouzid, an influential member of SIC, was arrested while taking part in a sit-in staged in the «Samara camp» in front of the delegation of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees. One day later, the family and relatives of another member called Fadel Brika from the same opposition group said was kidnapped.
