The remains of the two Scandinavian tourists who were killed near Imlil, Morocco, were repatriated, Friday, to Denmark's capital. The information was first published by local online newspaper Kech24, which reported that the bodies of the two backpackers who were found dead near their tent on Monday, will be taken to Denmark through Mohammed VI airport in Casablanca. Arabic-language newspaper Alyaoum 24 reported on the same day that the airplane transporting the remains of two tourists left Mohammed VI airport earlier this day. Contacted by Yabiladi, the Norwegian embassy in Rabat confirmed that the «bodies of Danish student Louisa Jespersen and her Norwegian friend Maren Ueland were repatriated, Friday, on the same plane which is heading to Copenhagen». Meanwhile, the Norwegian Foreign Ministry refused to comment on the news, insisting that «only the family of the victims can give information regarding that». For the record, the bodies of Louisa Jespersen and Maren Ueland were found dead with cuts to their necks, Monday, 10 kilometers away from Imlil, the starting point for treks to Mount Toubkal. Authorities have managed to arrest the four suspects who pledged allegiance to ISIS one week before the killings.
