The Central Bureau for Judiciary Investigations (BCJI), under the general directorate for territory surveillance, arrested, Monday, four individuals suspected of being linked to the Islamic State terrorist organization (ISIS) and operating in the cities of Casablanca, Tangier, Nador and Tiznit, says the Interior ministry. In addition to their total adherence to ISIS's destructive agenda and propaganda actions in favor of this terrorist organization, the investigations carried out by the security services revealed that the arrested members were acquiring skills in the manufacture of explosives to commit terrorist operations in the Kingdom, the ministry points out in a statement. This operation has allowed the seizure of various electronic devices, manuscripts and documents promoting the extremist ideology of Daesh (ISIS), in addition to knives, the same source stresses, adding that one of the suspects had close links with one of the elements arrested after the dismantling last May in Morocco and Spain of a terrorist cell linked to this radical group. The arrest, which is part of the ongoing efforts to identify extremist elements with terrorist plans, confirms Daesh's and its supporters' continued terrorist threats around the world as well as their intention to conduct terrorist operations in retaliation for the setbacks this organization is suffering in Syria and Iraq. The suspects will be brought to justice upon the completion of the probe, under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor's office, according to the statement.
