A friend of Radouane Lakdim, the hostage-taker who killed 4 and injured several people in a terror attack, was put in custody on Friday for around 19 hours for belonging to a terrorist organization, said Le Monde. On Friday night, a second individual was also arrested for the same count, informed the Paris prosecutor. According to a source close to the file, he is a minor born in 2000 and a friend of Radouane Lakdim. Investigations are underway to determine how the assailant got the gun he used during the infamous attack. Le Monde gives more details about the gunman indicating that he was born in Morocco on April 11th 1992 and he was known to the French services as an individual who has links with a Salafist movement. He was sentenced twice, in 2011 and 2015, for minor counts and was detained for one month in 2016 in Carcassonne. For the record, Radouane Lakdim killed 4 people on Friday, an employee and a customer at the supermarket where he took people in hostage, the driver of the car he stole and the policeman he injured later that day. 13 people were injured in the same attack, including a Portuguese national and a policeman.
