The Ministry of Equipment and Water has announced that traffic on National Road 16, between El Jebha, a little port town situated in the Rif Mountains and Al Hoceima, is currently disrupted due to landslides in the M'tioua commune. In a recent statement, the ministry advised motorists to take alternative routes. Traffic can be redirected via Regional Road 412, which connects El Jebha and Ouaouzgane in Al Hoceima. Other viable routes include National Road 2, running between Issaguen and Bab Berred, and Regional Road 4113, linking Tamourout and El Jebha in Chefchaouen.
