Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita received Romanian Minister of National Defense Angel Tilvar in Rabat today, who is on an official visit to Morocco. During Tilvar's visit yesterday, he met with Abdellatif Loudiyi, Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of managing national defense. Their meeting culminated in the signing of a military and technical cooperation agreement between Morocco and Romania, witnessed by the Lieutenant General, Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces and Commander of the Southern Region. The agreement covers specifically training and exercises, the defense industry, technical support, exchange of experiences, military health, and cybersecurity. It also establishes a joint military committee to define areas of cooperation, meeting alternately in Rabat and Bucharest. Both parties emphasized the positive and constructive role of Morocco and Romania in maintaining regional stability, security, and peace. They acknowledged their shared responsibility, dictated by their geostrategic locations, to promote peace and harmony in Africa and Europe.
