635 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 500,323. 4,433,939 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine so far, while 4,075,290 people have received the second. 564 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 486,913. 6 deaths were recorded in Morocco in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19-related deaths to 8,873. 2 of these deaths were recorded in Casablanca-Settat, 1 in Marrakech-Safi, 1 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 1 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima and 1 in the Oriental region. The country has 4,537 active cases, including 434 in critical conditions. 18 of them are on ventilators. Casablanca-Settat recorded 454 infections: 341 in Casablanca, 30 in El Jadida, 27 in Nouaceur, 17 in Mohammedia, 17 in Berrechid, 14 in Settat, 4 in Mediouna and 4 in Benslimane. Next comes Marrakech-Safi with 40 cases: 32 in Marrakech, 5 in Rhamna, 2 in Chichaoua and 1 in Kelaa des Sraghna. Rabat-Salé-Kénitra follows with 36 cases: 11 in Kénitra, 7 in Sidi Kacem, 6 in Sidi Slimane, 6 in Skhirat-Témara, 5 in Rabat and 1 in Salé. 14 infections were recorded in Souss-Massa: 10 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 3 in Tiznit and 1 in Inzegane-Ait Melloul. Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima confirmed 21 cases: 13 in Tanger-Assilah, 4 in M'diq-Fnideq, 3 in Larache and 1 in Chefchaouen. Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra recorded 18 new infections: 17 in Laâyoune and 1 in Boujdour. 14 cases were recorded in Drâa-Tafilalet (12 in Errachidia, 1 in Tinghir and 1 in Zagora), 10 in Fès-Meknes (4 in Sefrou, 3 in Fès, 2 in Taounate and 1 in Taza ) and 9 in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab). Beni Mellal-Khénifra confirmed 9 cases (6 in Khouribga and 3 in Beni Mellal), 8 cases in the Oriental region (3 in Taourirt, 2 in Berkane, 2 in Driouch and 1 in Jerada) and 2 infections in Guelmim- Oued Noun (1 in Guelmim and 1 in Sidi Ifni).
