The US newly appointed Secretary of State Antony Blinken held talks with Israeli Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi, Wednesday, in the highest-level contact yet between Israel and the new American administration. The two officials discussed «expanding the circle of peace, the Iranian threat and other issues», the Israeli Foreign Ministry said. Antony Blinken «welcomed the Abrahamic Agreements which were signed in recent months between Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Sudan and Morocco», i24news reported.
