The 2020 edition of the US-Africa Business Summit will be held in Marrakech in June, Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) announced Monday in Washington. CCA's board of directors chose Marrakech, organizers said in a statement relayed by MAP news agency. «Morocco is committed to promoting economic development in Africa, serving as an idea destination for the 2020 Summit to be held in North Africa for the first time», CCA said. The Kingdom's ambassador to Washington, Lalla Joumala Alaoui urged companies in the United States and in Africa to take advantage of this unique opportunity. The summit will be attended by investors from the American and African business community, who will be sharing their latest developments in trade and commerce. For the record, the US-Africa Business Summit was launched in 1997 to promote business and investment between the United States and Africa.
