Washington hosted Wednesday 68 foreign ministers from all over the world to discuss their global coalition on the defeat of ISIS. The US administration urged Morocco along with other members of the coalition to double their efforts in the fight against ISIS and called them to contribute more. The meeting was presided by the Secretary of state Rex Tilleron and attended by the Moroccan deputy foreign Minister Nasser Bourita. Tilleron declared in his speech during the meeting, that «there are many pressing challenges in the Middle East, but defeating ISIS is the United States' number-one goal in the region». Tilleron continued insisting on the coalition's members to put more efforts into the fight against the Islamic State, «The United States will do its part, but the circumstances on the ground require more from all of you». «I ask each country to examine how it can best support these vital stabilization efforts, especially in regard to contribution of military and financial resources.» Rex Tilleron concluded. According to the CBCNews, the meeting was an opportunity for the US to address diplomats from the coalition. It was also a way of rushing other countries to participate in the fight against terrorism and most particularly ISIS.
