536 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 476,125. 615,181 people have received the vaccine against Covid-19. 1,035 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 456,032. 16 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 8,424. 8 of these deaths were recorded in Casablanca-Settat, 2 in the Oriental, 2 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 2 in Fès-Meknes, 1 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima and 1 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra. The country has 11,669 active cases, including 554 in critical conditions. 48 of them are on ventilators. Casablanca-Settat recorded 272 infections: 190 in Casablanca, 30 in Nouaceur, 21 in Mohammedia, 13 in Berrechid, 7 in El Jadida, 7 in Mediouna and 4 in Benslimane. Next comes Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima with 59 new cases: 31 in Tanger-Assilah, 11 in Larache, 4 in Tétouan, 4 in Al Hoceima, 4 in M'Diq-Fnideq, 3 in Chefchaouen and 3 in Ouazzane. The Oriental region follows with 54 cases: 28 in Oujda-Angad, 17 in Nador, 4 in Berkane, 3 in Taourirt and 2 in Jerada. 49 new infections were recorded in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra: 16 in Skhirat-Témara, 13 in Kénitra, 10 in Salé, 6 in Rabat and 4 in Sidi Kacem. Marrakech-Safi recorded 35 cases: 31 in Marrakech, 2 in Safi, 1 in Kelaa des Sraghna and 1 in Youssoufia. Souss-Massa recorded 22 infections: 15 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 4 in Tiznit, 1 in Tata, 1 in Inzegane-Ait Melloul and 1 in Taroudant. There are also 18 confirmed cases in Beni Mellal-Khénifra (6 in Beni Mellal, 6 in Khouribga, 5 Fqih Bensaleh and 1 in Azilal), 8 in Fès-Meknes (4 in Fès, 2 in Meknes, 1 in Taza and 1 in El Hajeb) and 7 infections recorded in Drâa-Tafilalet (3 in Errachidia, 3 in Ouarzazate and 1 in Midelt). In the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab) recorded 7 new cases while the Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra region confirmed 5 new infections (4 in Laâyoune and 1 in Boujdour).
